      MODERN TOOL LTD. was incorporated in February of 1960, and we are happy to be celebrating our 51st Anniversary in 2011! 

     MODERN TOOL LTD. is now the largest dealer of New and Used Machine Tools and Metal Working Machinery in Canada, with offices in Calgary AB, Edmonton AB, Port Coquitlam BC, Port Perry ON, and Halifax NS,  We normally have a combined inventory of more than 550 to 600 machines in stock for immediate delivery!

            If you require a machine not shown on our list, please contact us. Our stock is constantly changing on a daily basis and we may have machines available, which are not listed.

       We are also always searching for good quality used equipment to purchase: single machines or complete shops.

Manuals and Literature:

     Modern Tool has an extensive library; literally thousands of original machine tool manuals, literature, and schematics. We have recently acquired the library of another major distributor, and we are now offering a new service: if you require a manual for any make or model of machine tool produced in the United States, Canada, Europe, or Asia , we may have what you are looking for!
